Asmita is a research assistant in the Department of Data Science and Its Applications, at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) headed by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Vollmer. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at RPTU Kaiserslautern.

Her research interests broadly lie in the area of applications of Data Science and Machine Learning in healthcare and biomedicine.

During the weekends she is mostly traveling, reading novels or illustrating.
